About Easy Cam Video Sewer Inspection Camera

Easycam is a full color sewer inspection camera that is built to last. Anyone that has ever owned an inspection camera knows even the best cameras break down and need to be repaired. This normally requires sending the camera and monitor back to the factory. The repairs are usually expensive and we all know downtime can really cut into your profits. At Easy CAM we took a new approach to this problem. First, we took everything that operates the pipe inspection camera and made it part of the push rod frame instead of putting the components in the monitor package that only operates the sewer inspection camera you purchased. Second, we built our camera with replaceable components that the owners can install themselves. You don't send your sewer camera to us, we send you the component and you install it yourself using a few allen wrenches and a screwdriver. Each component is complete and either screws in, plugs in or both. This results in the shortest downtime in the industry. Because Easy CAM is self contained, the video cable on the unit connects to a host of video products – VCR's, TV's, DVR's, Laptops, and DVD recorders to name a few. You can even use 2 or more of these at the same time. If it has a video input jack Easy CAM sewer inspection cameras will connect to it. Now if this isn't enough there is one more thing we should tell you. Anything new we build for Easy CAM in the future will be designed to fit the camera you purchased today. You won't be buying a new inspection camera for a few new components. That's why we say: "Easy CAM. it just makes sense."

From Frustration to Functionality:

A New Camera is Born.

Out of a plumber's frustration, the Easy CAM, a full color inspection camera that doesn't have to be shipped to the manufacturer for repairs, was born. Rick Joy estimates at any given time 20 percent of his cameras were broken at his plumbing shop in Naples, Fla., and it usually took three weeks for the cameras to be repaired. "You can't make money if your cameras are being fixed," Joy said. "The down time hurts your business, and it seemed like every time I turned around, I was getting another repair bill." At an average cost of $800 per repair, Joy said he was frustrated. Not only with the money he was continually spending, but with the troublesome and problematic nature of inspection cameras as well. So he took that frustration and turned it into inspiration. With the help of friend and engineer Fred Lange, they invented Easy CAM, which takes a new approach for the repair process. "Easy CAM takes all the negatives out of owning a sewer inspection camera," said Lange, who owns two other patents, and Joy, who's been in the plumbing industry for 30 years, catered the Easy CAM repair process to plumbers. As opposed to sending the broken camera to the manufacturer for repairs, Easy CAM ships the part directly to the camera operator. Instead of waiting weeks for repairs, Easy CAM allows the owner to easily repair the camera with a screwdriver or an allen wrench which expedites the repair time. Easy CAM eliminates labor costs, plumbers can easily fix it themselves and this process expedites the repair time. Easy CAM is compatible with any off-the-shelf monitor. Right now Easy CAM offers a two-year guarantee with free replacement parts that can be installed by the camera owner.
